About Night Owl Photography

Hello!  I am Kathryn Grimes and I have loved taking pictures since I took my first photography class many years ago.  Following it as a hobby, I would  look around and be inspired by the love and beauty that surrounds us.  In my spare time I have photographed many different subjects, scenes, and moments. As a wife and mom I was able to capture those precious moments throughout the years with my family.  There truly is a picture around every corner.

 Lately, I have been feeling the pull to dive further into my photography and take it on more full time.  Even in my day job, as a teacher, I was able to apply that love by taking photos for the school yearbook.  I was ecstatic that I was able to tell the story of the school year through pictures.  This gave me a great opportunity to practice my craft all the while continuing my calling as a teacher.  I have been blessed with being a teacher and now I know God is leading me through another door so that I can continue to reach others.

With this passion that I have for photography, I have stepped out to chase my dreams and create my business.  I will bring that passion and dedication to each and every person, family, couple that I have the honor to photograph, because being able to do this each day is a true blessing!
